Hustle and bustle, toil and tussle! 

And stress. 




I don’t know about you, but I promised myself this year would be different. I HOPED this holiday season would look different. Then the ships literally haven’t come in and I’m left with a little, “What do I do now?” And a whole lot of “ahhhhhhhhh!!!”

I can’t be the only one, right? Are you feeling the same way?

 I can’t really help you with what to buy your loved one. You know, the one who really wanted that thingy-ma-bob. But I can help you with that stressed-out skin, even if you can’t find the time to get a yummy facial. Because, let’s be honest, there just aren’t enough hours in the day to manage it all.

Number one, best thing you can do for yourself and your skin? Breathe! 


Can I say it again…Breathe! The skin is considered the third lung and this is the first line of defense to rid yourself of stress. Here is what I want you to do at least once, or even better, three to four times, using the principle of threes: 




  • breathe in – count 1,2,3 
  • hold – count 1,2,3
  • breathe out – 1,2,3

Repeat 9 times. 


Now, don’t be so hard on yourself when you can’t seem to find time or the presents you wanted to give. Instead focus on enjoying your family and friends. 


And when it all starts to be too much? Breathe, Breathe, Breathe!  It will make a world of difference!
